Guild Projects

The Peninsula Scribes Guild created a paper quilt again in 2013. This quilt is made up of decorated envelopes that are created with the idea of “Where is Nancy Drew?”. Each person will create a decorated envelope addressed to Nancy Drew in each of the different states. It was displayed at the 2013 Clallam County Fair in Port Angeles. It will be displayed in early May  2014 at Letters of Joy. A book has been put together of all 50 states and is now available to guild members. These books will also be sold at Letters of Joy in early May. If you are interested in one of these books, contact Linda.

A guild project for 2014 is currently being planned and information about it should be available in the next couple of months.

In 2012 the guild created the “Alphabet” project. Each person created a page for their selected letter. T hese pages were then compiled into a book. A set of these pages were then assembled into a paper quilt that was displayed at the Clallam County Fair in August, 2012. This paper quilt is now in display in the meeting room at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
